Channel Navigation

Pass the Cape Charles jetty on the starboard side (250 ft) and proceed northeast 032M to Green #1 CB passing it on your port side. From Green #1 CB, proceed to course 020M and look for lit Green. Pass Green #3 and at Red #4 make a hard right turn to 093M (East). Disregard Red #2CI, the channel marker for Cherrystone Channel.  From Red #4, continue on course 093M and pass between Green #3A and Red #4A. At Green #5 and Red #6 turn northeasterly 065M to Green #7 and Red #8 (From Red #8 into the marina is a No Wake Zone). Pass Red #8 on your starboard side and turn to course 100M toward Red #10 (keep clear of docks on your port side). Red #10 to Red #12 course is 150M and from Red #12 to Red #14/ Green #15 is course 220M. You are now at Bay Creek Marina Lat. 37-16-45N, Long. 076-00-37W.

All courses are plotted in Magnetic (M) and may vary from boat to boat due to compass error. Upon entering Kings Creek Channel call the marina on VHF channel 9 or 16 and we will switch you to a working channel for docking instructions.

By Car

From Norfolk/Virginia Beach
Take Northampton Blvd. to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Drive through the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel (toll is $12.00). Once off of the bridge tunnel, continue north on Rt. 13 approx. 10 miles to the first traffic light (Rt 184). Turn left onto Rt. 184/Stone Rd. Continue 2 miles and turn right at Fig St. following it to the end at 1 Marina Village Circle. 

From Richmond
Take I-64 East out of Richmond toward the Airport/ Williamsburg/ Norfolk. Merge onto US-13N via Exit 282 toward the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel (toll is $12.00). Proceed north on Rt. 13 approx. 10 miles to the first traffic light (Rt 184). Turn left onto Rt. 184/Stone Rd. Continue 2 miles and turn right at Fig St. following it to the end at 1 Marina Village Circle. 

From Washington, D.C.
Take US-50 E (Portions toll). Merge onto US-50 E toward Ocean City. US-50 E becomes US-13 S. US-13 S becomes Charles M Lankford Jr. Memorial Hwy/Lankford Hwy. Turn right onto Stone Road/ VA-184. Continue 2 miles and turn right at Fig St. following it to the end at 1 Marina Village Circle.
