He may be the head of Baymark Construction Company, but Richard “Dickie” Foster doesn’t think of himself as a developer. He believes he is a builder of communities—villages that grow and evolve over time, where generations of families and neighbors can come together to enjoy life on the Chesapeake Bay.

It’s a philosophy embodied in Bay Creek. Here, superior design means thoughtful consideration of the natural landscape. By balancing the human need for quality of life with the importance of sustaining a beautiful environment, the Baymark name has become synonymous with exceptional community design.

Since the company’s inception in 1980, Baymark has received numerous awards for outstanding residential design. Bay Creek was chosen as one of “America’s 100 Best Master-Planned Communities” by Where to Retire magazine, and our world-class marina was named “Best of the Bay” by Chesapeake Bay magazine.
